2025

Overview

In 2025 I partnered with Mette Marie Salto Jewelry to redesign their website, focusing on a more structured, cohesive online presence that maintained the brand’s visual identity. The aim was to make the user experience more intuitive.
I led the project from analysis to launch, acting as UX/UI designer and developer. I redefined the site structure, designed wireframes and visuals, and built the solution with BigCartel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

The Problem

Footlioo had a meaningful and highly relevant product, but needed a stronger visual and communicative foundation to increase awareness and make the brand feel recognizable, trustworthy and engaging across platforms.

The challenge was to create a brand universe that could communicate both the practical value of the product and the emotional side of caring for children’s feet. Since Footlioo’s concept combines health, growth, technology and parenting, the identity had to feel professional and credible, while still being warm, simple and approachable.

The project focused on:

  • Creating a cohesive visual identity across brand and content.
  • Strengthening brand awareness on social media
  • Developing content that could educate, and inspire.
  • Planning content around the summer holiday period.
  • Supporting the launch and visibility of the platform.

The Solution

The hierarchy issues were addressed through card sorting sessions with previous customers and the business owner. In these sessions, participants grouped site content in ways that made sense to them, which informed my restructuring of the information architecture.

Results

The redesigned site was more intuitive and engaging. In the first 30 days, conversions rose 45%.
The improvements from this project showed very clearly how thoughtful UX and strong visual identity support measurable business growth.
